In my best Howard Cosell imitation: "It ovah, it's alll ovaaahhh". Scott is TKO'd by the PBA Experience in a 12-round (week) bout, where I'm a welterweight, and the PBA is George Foreman.
Or something like that anyway.
Position night, final week, tonight. Cheetah again. The pattern does not like me. I do not like it right back. Shot a couple of 130's games before coming back with a 182 to close out the night.
Finished up with a 36-game set with a 160 average. This, after booking a 201 this past winter on the house shot. HELLLOOOOOO reality. I knew I wasn't going to put up big numbers, so I'm not shocked by this.
The good news is I learned a lot, had some fun too. We finished 7th out of 10 in a pretty tightly contested league.
And I found out my winter league is going to be using a modified house shot that's more difficult, closer oil ratio to the pros, at least the first six weeks as a test, so I think I'll be better prepared for that as a result of this summer's festivities. Of course, this means my average will take a hit, which is a bit disappointing since I'm trying to hit 210 this year, but at the end of the day, more practice on tougher shots, should make me a better bowler.
September 3rd it all kicks off, and suffice to say, I hope to not be mentioning anything about 130 games, or a 160 average, as the weather turns chilly :)

It is great that you had a good time on your PBA experience league, and it sounds like you are going to keep with it (GREAT). I hope it works out with the modified house pattern. Good luck in your upcoming league.
