Last night was just one of those nights you scratch your head and move on.

I didn't bowl as well as I did last week, but the luck wasn't with me either, and ended up with a mediocre night that was pretty disappointing after last week's 719.

Started off good, with a 216. From there it went downhill.

I wasn't rolling the ball consistently well, but still threw plenty of good shots, and was covering just about every makable spare. On the night I whiffed on a 6-10, chopped another, and missed a 3-10, but I made every single-pin spare I left, and there were pllllllenty.

I guess it was somewhat to-be-expected, since everything fell for me last week -- you know how bowling karma can go.

I was leaving 10-pins (converted them all!), 4-pins, 7-pins.  Just couldn't get any strings together to boost the scores.  I think I may have had one turkey the entire night, maybe a couple of doubles, but usually X 10-pin, or X 4-pin, then another strike, another single-pin, etc.

Anyway, 216-170-191 for 577.  Not total disaster by any stretch, but it should have been better.  At least I made my spares for the most part and kept it from getting ugly.  Hopefully the carry will come back next week.
