    I can't complain

All in all, I'm pretty happy with how things went last night.  I didn't throw my best first balls very consistently at all, but largely kept out of trouble and made my spares.

My first game was my best, a 226.  Missed a 10-pin in the second frame, and it was my only makeable spare missed on the night. I only had one split last night, so I stayed pretty clean.

Second game I wasn't releasing the ball real well, leaving some weak pocket hits or a bit too high, but stayed clean and worked for a 215.

It took me a while to get on track, and by the second half of game 3, I was throwing pretty well. Still, not consistent enough overall, and my one split of the night a 4-6, cost me.  Not terrible, 203.

So I ended up with a 644, which was unspectacular, but I'll take it every time.

I'm much happier with my spare shooting as of late, and it's definitely giving me much better scores, even when my first balls have been shakier than I'd like.

This was my third 200+ all three games this year, I only did it 4 times all of last year.

Got the avg. up to 201.67, which is where I was last season. After being in the 180's five weeks ago, this is a nice move up.  Hopefully it keeps going.

way to go Scott - picking up those spares makes a big difference. Do you go straight at them, or hook the ball? Also spare ball or strike ball? Is this a sport or house pattern?

    Keep up the good work!
